Great event if you can get in
I was extremely disappointed on the level of difficulty and lack of information on how to be able to enter this event. First of all you couldn't go over the pedestrian bridge right at the hatch shell so I had to walk quite a distance to another one with my 4 year old. When we finally got there I wasn't given access because I had a backpack. I am sensitive to the reasoning however it is extremely frustrating to see other people enter with shoulder bags way bigger than mine but because my bag was a backpack style I wasn't able to enter. I was able to stuff all of my items into another friend's shoulder bag to enter. People also had huge IKEA bags to collect swag that AND almost every vendor was handing out a backpack!!!
I checked on several sites when I got home and could not find any information that the pedestrian bridge would be closed and that backpacks and other items would be restricted for entry. This would have saved a lot of anger and frustration for many parents.RELATED LINKS | ↑ top |
