Wayne from Maine is a musical 'edu-tainer' who has become legendary up and down the East Coast for his music. The Wayne from Maine show is 45 a minute interactive musical experience for the young and young
at heart. Wayne, along with his percussionist JimmyJames the KoongaBoonga Man, invites volunteers to the stage to play various percussive instruments or sing into a wireless microphone.
Wayne's music is designed to be enjoyed by kids as well as their parents. He sings about valuable themes such as reading, self-esteem, nutrition, being different, and having fun. For more information or to listen to some of Wayne from Maine's songs, visit his website.
The concert will be held at the new shaded concert area at the Recreation Park in Exeter. It will begin at 10:00 am and lasts approximately 45 minutes. There is no admission fee!
Directions
From I-95: Follow I-95 into New Hampshire if coming from the south. Take exit #2 into Rte. 101 West, and drive for 2.2 miles. Take exit #12 toward Exeter, then turn left onto Rte. 111 West (Hampton Rd.).
