For close to 25 years, the St. Lawrence String Quartet (SLSQ) has brought its exquisite musicianship and adventurous spirit to the world’s most hallowed chamber music halls.
The Quartet expertly balances a strong commitment to the great established quartet literature with the fervent championing of new works by such composers as John Adams, Osvaldo Golijov, Eziquiel Vinao and Jonathan Berger.
Founded by violist Lesley Robertson and violinist Geoff Nuttall in 1989, the Quartet was originally founded in Canada, but currently resides in the Bay area.
