Mistral’s YOUNG PEOPLE'S CONCERT returns! This engaging Hans Christian Andersen story is set to music by David Mullikan; performed by an ensemble of flute, string trio, percussion; and narrated by NPR’s Lloyd Schwartz.

As in past years, all children come for free and are invited to wear their their Halloween costumes!

The concerts follow in the tradition of Leonard Bernstein's legendary 'Young People's Concerts' at Carnegie Hall, which nourished a love of music in thousands of children.

Mistral presents intimate concerts with unprecedented personal access to world-renowned musicians.

The concert is only one hour in length including audience interaction, and children are invited to come on stage afterwards to see the instruments up close following the performance.
