The Boston Civic Symphony, Max Hobart, conductor, opens its 91st season with a family concert featuring Britten's beloved, 'A Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra,' narrated by WBZ Radio personality, Jordan Rich.

The program will open with Copland's 'Fanfare for the Common Man.' Assistant conductor Matt Scinto will conduct 'Four Dances from 'Rodeo.'' Violinist Jeremiah Blacklow, winner of the 2015 Young Artist Concerto Competition, will be the soloist.

Free refreshments will be served at intermission.
