The shows will take place at the Sheehan School at 594 Pond Street, Westwood and is sponsored by Dedham Savings Bank.
Josh & the Jamtones are a Boston-based children’s band with a national following.
Their January 2015, called Bear Hunt, is the band's first animated film, and they recently announced a partnership with Chuck E. Cheese locations nationwide who will play Josh & the Jamtones videos and music from the new film.
The Jamtones play a mix of ska, reggae, pop, punk, and country mixed with kid-friendly improv comedy.
'Our goal with the Jamtones is to create a totally unique first-music experience that parents can enjoy and share with their kids,' explains Wellesley front man Josh Shriber.
The Jamtones have played over 200 shows including the Life is Good festival and Earthfest and released three full-length records.
'A rock and ska sound that is great to jump, clap and jive to, 'says The Boston Globe.
In addition to enjoying the Westwood show, a bake sale, and refreshments, attendees can bid on family-friendly silent auction items.
Proceeds of the event benefit St.
John's Nursery School, a private, non-denominational preschool in Westwood, Massachusetts that has served three-year-olds for more than 35 years In the fall of 2015, St.
John's will merged programs with the Clapboardtree Nursery School and now accept children aged 3 & 4.
Tickets are $10 online and $12 at the door.
Children under 1 are free.
