Join us on the Saturday before Mother's Day for a Pops-style event featuring Sharon Concert Band and Roy Scott Big Band!

Presented by Ames Free Library in Easton, 'An Evening of Pops' will showcase a wide range of well-known classical and jazz compositions.

Admission includes a complimentary cocktail and mouth-watering desserts.

The Sharon Concert Band will open the show with a program that embraces Americana, with traditional folk songs and American Western movie themes creatively arranged for a wind ensemble.

The performance will include renditions of “The Yellow Rose of Texas”, 'The Magnificent Seven', and 'Silverado'.

The Roy Scott Big Band will follow up with a set that includes jazz arrangements of well-known songs such as 'Land of Make Believe' by Chuck Mangione and 'Isn't She Lovely' by Stevie Wonder.

Vocalist Ruth Debrot will join the band on songs such as 'Here's to Life,' made famous by Shirley Horn.

Proceeds from this event will benefit Ames Free Library.

A cash bar will be available.
