Participate in outdoor stations (please dress for the weather) that explore maple trees and tree tapping throughout history, and discover the lives of local animals in winter.
Learn about the science of sap, tap a tree, and sample different grades of syrup with silver dollar pancakes!
For adults and families with children ages 4+.
Preregistration is required and can be completed at www.massaudubon.org/southshore (click “Upcoming Programs” to the right of the photo) or by calling 781-837-9400.
You don’t need to arrive right at 9am, but we recommend staying 1.5 hours to take advantage of all activities.

From Route 3 South: Take exit 13 (Route 53, Hanover/Norwell) and turn left onto Route 53. Go 0.6 miles and turn right at light onto Route 123 east. Go 5.7 miles to rotary and take the first exit onto Route 3A south. Sanctuary entrance is 1.6 miles ahead on the left.
From Route 3 North: Take exit 12 (Route 139, Marshfield/Pembroke), and follow Route 139 east toward Marshfield for 3 miles to Route 3A. Turn left (north) and follow Route 3A for 4.6 miles to sanctuary entrance on right.
