Nature Festival: Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary

Enjoy ongoing activities throughout the day at our Eleventh Annual Audubon Nature Festival. This year’s special feature will be presentations of Marcia Wilson's Eyes On Owls program. Come see live owls up close, learn about their natural history, and join in a hooting lesson. There will be also be a native plant sale featuring plants that will attract birds, butterflies, and other wildlife to your garden, nature walks, henna, face painting, children’s games and activities, a butterfly tent, reptiles and amphibians, an insect zoo, crafter demonstrations, naturalist-guided walks, guided tours of our nature gardens, pond explorations, demonstrations on composting, planting to attract wildlife, food, bake sale, and much more. New this year--Celtic music!
