Mayor Clancy of Lynn, MA invites you to observe the stars at High Rock Tower.
High Rock Observatory houses a 12-inch Meade telescope with lenses powerful enough to view the rings of Saturn, Jupiter and her moons, galaxies, star clusters, nebula and many other wonders of the night sky.
Our Meade telescope also enables visitors to investigate the craters, valleys and hills of the moon’s surface, distinguish between the different star formations and obtain a better appreciation and understanding of basic astronomy.
In maintaining the Hutchinson tradition of public access to the Observatory, the Mayor’s Office is conducting tours. If your group would like to learn more about how to utilize this wonderful city resource, please contact Jamie Marsh at 781-599-1444 or at Jmarsh@ci.lynn.ma.us.
