This delightful class takes toddlers through 4 of The Trustees of the Reservation's south shore forests to unearth things that interest toddlers like a newt, owl's nest, tadpoles and bugs. The instructor is wonderful with the kids and normally finishes the hike with a story and/or craft.

This class can fill up, but runs again in the Spring. Contact the address listed below (the Trustees of the Reservation's south shore office) to learn when registration takes place for future sessions. Normally it is a month prior to the session beginning and takes place at the Hingham Library.

The one on 9/25 is at World's End. It is a different property each week. Directions to Worlds' End is:
From Route 3, take exit 14 and follow Route 228 north for 6.5 miles. Turn left onto Route 3A and follow for 0.7 miles. Turn right onto Summer Street and follow for 0.3 miles to stop light. Continue straight across Rockland Street and follow Martin’s Lane to the entrance of World’s End. The ranger station is immediately located on left.
