The arboretum is full of winding paths, allowing visitors to stop and read labeled specimens or sit on benches interspersed throughout.
The annual event is held when the blooms are at their peak. Educational afternoon tours will be led at 2 and 3 p.m. by Tom Falzareno a society member with a horticultural background.
