Bring your family: it’s time for free tree fun this summer at the Arnold Arboretum… Hands on Saturdays program offers fun outdoor activities for families & kids on select Saturdays.
July 19 - Cool Off with Fan Flowers
Check out the beautiful Fan Flower Tree from China. Make a paper fan to cool down on a hot day, and make a fan flower ornament.
August 16 - The Tulip Tree Look up
Tulip tree blossoms can be found 60 feet above the ground, or even higher!
Activities are at the Hunnewell Visitor Center. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Free, no registration required. For more information, call 617-384-5209 or contact arbweb@arnarb.harvard.edu.
