Experience the atomsphere of a Japanese summer festival during Obon, a time to honor and remember ancestors. Participate in a bon odori rythmic dance led by middle school students from Salem's sister city of Ota-Borough, Japan. Odiako New England provides the drumming. Enjoy complimentary refreshments, and participate in drop-in activities. The event will take place at the Armory Park, across from the main museum entrance. (In case of rain, the event will held in the Atrium and will be included with museum admission.)

Adults $13, Seniors $11, Students $9
Youth (16 and under) and Salem, Mass. residents admitted free.
Members admitted free to all sites.
