Join the North Shore Parents Group at Endicott Park!

The North Shore Parents Group is a fun group of friendly parents and kids. We accept all parents of small children who reside in cities north of Boston whose goals are to make new friends for themselves and their kids, and we welcome all parents no matter their age, sex, race, religion or parenting style. We ask that families who join have at least one child who is age 5 or younger, since most of our play dates are geared towards this age group. Older siblings are also welcome! We're all about 'no mama drama!' so expect everyone involved to be welcoming, friendly, laid back and just have fun!

Bad weather will lead to event cancellation.

Endicott Park
Rating Comments:
Fun Factor: 5.0 stars
Two large sets of playground equipment full of slides, bridges, monkey bars, tire-climb and more. The smaller set is for younger children. Separate large swing set at the end of the playground, and small swing set for little kids.

Cleanliness: 5.0 stars
Very clean.

Location: 5.0 stars
Playground is part of a park with ample parking lot space, but there is a fee to park ($1 for residents, $3 for nonresidents, and parents complained the pay machine at the gate is tricky and takes too long to use). There is a section of picnic tables outside the playground gates, and within the playground, there are multiple benches for parents to sit, including some in the shade. There are public restrooms at the park, but not at the playground. Endicott Park also has a barn with animals that children can visit, as well as a pond and walking trails.

Safety: 5.0 stars
It is a wood playground and the wood looks like it is getting old, but parents said they haven't had any problems with splinters. The mat is sand and the playground is fenced off with a latched gate. The playground is inside Endicott Park so there are no roads nearby.

General Comments:
'It's excellent. Fantastic,' said parent Tara Coyle, of Lynn. 'I love the open spaces. We love the bathrooms. There are two different play areas so we can see both our little one and our older one. The benches are a plus -- it's very family friendly.'
