Sponsored by the Rebecca Pomroy Foundation & Newton Child Care Commission and Fund. During this session, Kelly will present various stress management techniques including gentle yoga and mindfulness. Participants will have the opportunity to practice several techniques and discuss ways of incorporating more stress management methods into their daily lives.

Kelly Weaver holds a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling and works as a Resource and Referral Counselor for the Project INTERFACE mental health initiative based at WarmLines/MSPP. Kelly is an experienced yoga teacher known for making yoga accessible to everyone. Kelly helps groups and individuals learn healthy coping strategies for managing challenging life situations such as separation and divorce. She is the mother of two school-age children and has a cooperative co-parenting relationship with her ex-partner.
