Please join the Chelmsford Mothers' Club for a workshop presented by Lynne Laffie to learn about specific ways to foster self-esteem and develop children’s natural strengths. Participants will practice language to use with their own children to encourage more cooperative behavior. Additionally, they will learn how to reduce their own discouragement in dealing with children and become more encouraged to change old patterns of behavior that do not work to discipline children.

This will be an upbeat and very practical workshop for reinforcing positive behavior and building self-esteem.

Lynne Laffie is well known throughout the North Shore and Merrimack Valley as an early childhood and professional development consultant who helps parents, educators, and childcare providers learn and apply positive ways of dealing with the negative behavior of children and teenagers.

The meeting is on Wednesday May 19 at Greater Visions Children’s Center (St. Vartanantz Church) located at 180 Old Westford Road, Chelmsford, MA. The meeting starts with social hour at 6:45pm and speaker at 7:30pm.

General meetings are free and are open to mothers of children from birth to age ten. Both non-members and members are encouraged to attend.
