Want to try a carrier before making an investment? We have an extensive Lending Library at every meeting and our leaders are here to answer questions, give advice and help teach you the proper way to use each carrier.
If you want more practice you can even take a carrier home to test out and get a real chance to use it. Then you simply return it at before the next meeting. We do require that a cash or check refundable deposit is left for each carrier borrowed.
April’s topic will be Making and Modifying carriers with Jan from Sleeping Baby Productions. SBP is a local company (NH) and Jan hand makes fabulous Ring Slings. Her website also includes some of the most comprehensive instructions available for making baby carriers. www.sleepingbaby.net/jan/baby
We will also be hosting a For Sale Or Trade event at our April meeting! Please bring cash if you would like to buy carriers or bring your personal carriers if you would like to sell. Email info@bostonbabywearers.com with any questions

Jan’s presentation will start at 11am so don’t miss it! The FSOT will continue after the meeting if there is interest and we’ll be staying for lunch in the same room. MIT has a great selection of food in the student center or just pack a lunch and stay to join us. We always have a good time when we meet at MIT so tell your friends and come on out!
Boston Babywearers (BBW) is a greater Boston, MA area non-profit group made up of diverse parents who love babywearing. We meet every month to learn from one another and teach others who are new to BW. There are many great resources online, but there is nothing like walking into a room full of parents wearing their little ones and being able to learn, make friends, and work together to build a community.
