Dunia, the Earth-friendly store for home, body and soul(SM), in conjunction with Journey to Raw, announces 'The 50/50 Diet Plan,' a lecture and food tasting event hosted by acupuncturist, raw food chef, instructor and wellness counselor Adrienne Martin. The 50/50 Diet Plan - whose goal is simply to boost the intake of fruits and vegetables to 50% of one's diet - clears a path to increased energy, reduced aches and pains, strengthened immunity, and improved overall health. 'The 50/50 Diet Plan' will run from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, Saturday, June 7th, at the Maynard Knights of Columbus Hall, 40 Summer Street, in downtown Maynard. Admission is $35.

In this brief interactive workshop, 50/50 Diet Plan developer Adrienne Martin will explain the many benefits of her simple raw vegan nutritional program, the hows and whys of eating 50% raw vegan, suggestions on what to do with the other 50% of your diet as well as provide many lifestyle tips to help you on your way to truly abundant health. Delicious and nutritious food samplings will also be part of the day.
