Kids will be spellbound in a wonderland of colors, shapes and sounds that is sure to excite aspiring scientists, mathematicians and artists of all ages. This exhibit is presented entirely in rhyme and features four interactive areas each focusing on a specific type of pattern. These are the Branch Branch, Tessellation Station, Linear Lab and Spiral Spells and Symmetry Sorcery.
From deciphering a group quilt to designing a branching tree, discovering patterns in sea shells to making patterns in cloth and beads, Pattern Wizardry ranges across cultures, critters and continents to teach about recognition and repetition. Come explore the magic of patterns!
