Choreographer Chu Ling founded the Chu Ling Dance Academy in 1998 with the goal of helping Asian children gain an appreciation for traditional Chinese art and culture, and to exposing the American public to Chinese culture through the medium of dance.
She hopes this will inspire the forging of closer cross-cultural ties within the community.
Chu Ling Dance Academy appears through Summer in the City, the Cambridge Arts Council’s annual series of free multicultural, interactive arts programs and performances, for children, families, and the entire community.
