Mr. Badger is thrilled to meet Blossom, a flower fairy, in the garden.

He flies away with her to help the fairies build a playground.

But then it's complicated: the fairies won't use cement; and Mr. Badger wants to learn to fly.

Join Margaret Moody for a gentle tale based on European fairy lore.

And please stay after for puppet-play and coffee in the theater.

'Badger Meets the Fairies' is best for ages 4 to 7, and lasts 40 minutes.

Fairy puppets and sets for their garden were built by visual artist Sandra Pastrana and Margaret Moody.

Alison Plante of Berklee School of Music composed original music for the fairies based on Celtic melodies.

'Badger Meets the Fairies' is the last show in this season's 'Saturdays with Puppets' series at Arlington Center for the Arts.

Margaret Moody started the series 8 years ago to present her lively hand puppet shows for families close to her Arlington home.

Much of Margaret's puppetry incorporates the acrobatic movements of traditional Taiwanese puppetry, which she studied with puppet master Li Tien-lu in Taiwan.
