The Boston Light The Night Walk will take place on Boston Common. Check-in starts at 5:00pm and the two-mile Walk starts at 7:00pm. Light The Night is The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s annual evening fundraising walk to celebrate and commemorate lives touched by cancer. Each fall, teams of friends, families, and co-workers gather in cities and towns across America.
Participants at the walks carry illuminated balloons – white for survivors, red for supporters, and gold for “in-memory”.
Funds raised help support LLS’s mission to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. Nationally, Light The Night raised $39 million.
