The Museum of Science offers Special Extended Hours for MA February School Vacation Weeks!
MA School Vacation Week: Open February 13 – 18 DAILY FROM 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.;
Friday, February 19: 9 a.m. – 9 p.m.; Saturday February 20: 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.
February School Vacation Week highlights include: Arabia (premiere event 2/11), Owl Festival (2/19), and last chance to see Harry Potter™: The Exhibition (closing 2/21). This February, the Museum of Science offers many exciting ways to escape the cold! Enjoy a lush and warm oasis right here in Boston with a visit to the Butterfly Garden or take a tropical getaway at the giant-screen Omni films, Amazon or Coral Reef Adventure.
School vacation week also marks National Engineers Week, from February 14 – 20. Celebrate with a visit to the Innovative Engineers exhibit and engage in engineering and problem-solving activities that are as important to living as they are to innovation. Museumgoers can then test their skills in Design Challenges,where they'll solve an engineering puzzle using provided materials. Challenges include designing a windmill that can harness wind power or constructing an eco-friendly house for one of the Museum's live animals.
