Join us for December Holiday Vacation Week and participate in free activities for kids all week!

Enjoy free activities for families all week long. Cultures across the world and throughout history celebrate the New Year. Join us to make artwork in our galleries inspired by the theme of celebration! No registration required. Free with Museum admission and kids are free.

All ages and abilities welcome; children must be accompanied by an adult.

Better than expected

I went with my children to MFA. I liked the set up within a gallery. The activity was based on a Dutch painting. The leader who explained the painting to the children was comfortable with them, asked them questions, and presented a quick historical background. The children responded very well. I even learned something about the painting and the middle-class Dutch family of the time. Well done!
