Presidents’ Day Family Festival

In celebration of Presidents’ Day, the JFK Library will host its sixth annual Family Festival featuring presidential storytelling, creative activities, musical performances, and Museum tours and hands-on programs to bring the Library to life in new ways for all ages.
First-Day-of-Issue Stamp Dedication Ceremony
10:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
The US Postal Service will commemorate the centennial of President John F. Kennedy's birth by dedicating a Forever stamp in his honor. The 10 a.m. ceremony will launch the Forever stamp, making the First-Day-of-Issue Stamp exclusively available at the Presidents' Day Family Festival on February 20 and available nationwide in Post Offices starting on February 21.
Special Festival Day activities are free with paid admission. Visitors ages 17 and under are admitted free of charge. EBT, military, and student discounts are available. For all other visitors, visit us on Facebook or Twitter for a special buzzword that will give you $2 off admission prices. The opening stamp dedication ceremony and closing concert are free for all. The Family Festival is especially appropriate for ages 5 and up.

African American Heritage Month

Join us for this fast-paced performance honoring African American Heritage Month! Meet over a dozen groundbreakers and hall-of-famers who have contributed to shaping our nation’s past, present and future. Young audience volunteers help the cast bring this show to life.
The Celebrate! series, appropriate for family audiences and children ages 5 and up, highlights America's rich cultural diversity through the arts. This program reflects President and Mrs. Kennedy's concern for and support of the arts and culture as important components of a democratic society. In order to optimize your comfort and enjoyment, reservations are required for all visitors to this free program.
To make a reservation, visit our Celebrate! page or call 617-514-1644 and leave a message. Children are seated on the floor with their caretakers. Space is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
