In Engineering, kids in grades 1-2 work with LEGO™ kits* and take-home building materials, to create a variety of working toys while learning about common mechanical concepts. A great introduction to simple machines though hands-on and take-home activities. * LEGO materials are not taken home.
In Gamemaker Whizards, students in grades 3-5 learn the fundamentals of object-oriented programming through video game design. All students work at their own pace, making this a great class for both new or more experienced game makers. At the end of the program, students get their games to play at home and share with friends and family (PC compatible). A strict non-violence policy is enforced.
