The Parks Department invites children of all ages to participate in free interactive science themed activities! Participants will explore, observe, and learn in an exciting and fun environment!Children of all ages will experience hands-on, educational, and fun science themed activities!
The festival will be held in the Franklin Park Golf Course Club House and will include the following activities:
• Horse of Course Demonstration and New England Exhibit by the Boston
Park Rangers
• Plant dissection at the Plantmobile and a scavenger hunt by the Mass
Horticultural Society
• The Traveling Tidal Pool Exhibit by the New England Aquarium
• CSI Corner, Amazing Organisms, Science Magic, and Egg Drop
Experiment by the MIT Science From Scientists and Science on the
Street
• Boston historical artifact and dig exhibit by the City of Boston
Archeologists
• Robot Exploration by iRobot
• Snowshoeing and sledding with L.L.
Bean Guides (equipment provided)
Free parking is available at the clubhouse parking lot located at One Circuit
