The Lodge is at the base of Mount Washington on the Appalachian Trail in the White Mountain National Forest, just a short drive from North Conway, Jackson, and Gorham, NH, and Bethel, ME.
Family Adventure Camp: Joe Dodge Lodge & Zealand Falls Hut
July 29-August 3; August 5-10; August 12-17; August 19-24
Gain deeper appreciation & understanding of forests, rivers, & wildlife around us thru hands-on exploration w/AMC naturalist guides & guest presenters. Activities planned for children 5-12, but older/younger children welcome. Incl. group activities, discovery sessions, afternoon hikes, & evening programs. Each week incl. a trip to summit of Mt. Washington, w/a visit to the famous Mt. Washington Observatory, plus a rafting trip on the Androscoggin River w/local outfitter. Last night spent at Zealand Falls Hut.
Rates start at $625.50/adult members, $722.50/adult non-members, $509.50/youth members, $568.50/youth non-members, $371.50/child members, $404.50/child non-members, & incl. meals, bunkroom lodging, transportation, & instruction. Family Adventure Camp, Gorman Chairback Lodge & Cabins
July 29-August 3; August 6-11
Have a blast w/family this summer at AMC’s new Gorman Chairback Lodge & Cabins in the heart of the Maine Woods! Paddle a canoe, fly fish, identify/track frogs, birds, & other animals, watch eagles, listen to the call of the loon, & hike to beautiful waterfalls. Gain a deeper appreciation & understanding of the forest, lakes, rivers, & wildlife in the Maine Woods. Exp Each child becomes an AMC Junior Naturalist, & is given a certificate & patch. 1 evening set aside for an adult evening social, while kids cook dinner over a campfire. Plenty of time to relax w/family while participating in a great schedule of programs.

Join us on our Family Adventure Series. All-inclusive exp. incl. meals & lodging at plus 3 days guided adventures.
