Climb aboard the official Warner Brothers licensed train ride of The Polar Express brought to you by the Cape Cod Central Railroad.

Starting November 15th through December 30th, families and children of all ages are invited to experience the wonder, magic and joy of a trip to the “North Pole” where the classic holiday adventure comes to life for families and children of Southern New England.

During the round-trip adventure to the “North Pole” passengers can suit up in their favorite pajamas and ride The Polar Express train ride from either Hyannis or Buzzards Bay, MA.

The Polar Express train ride is based on the classic holiday book and movie that features the heart-warming story of a young boy whose Christmas Eve journey aboard a mysterious train reignites his belief in Santa Claus.

With music from the motion picture playing in the background, the adventure begins with the train conductor stamping each passenger’s golden ticket while Chefs serve hot chocolate and cookies.

En route, passengers enjoy a reading of Chris Van Allsburg’s The Polar Express and meet characters like the hobo from the movie as they pass by on the train.

Upon arrival at the “North Pole,” Santa and his elves board the Polar Express, greet the children and present each with the first gift of Christmas, their own silver sleigh bell which according to legend, they can hear jingling only if they believe in in the magic of Christmas.

On the return journey, guests enjoy a Christmas carol sing-along led by Santa’s elves.

“We are thrilled to share the magic of The Polar Express™ with Massachusetts, Rhode Island and all Southern New England-area families,” said Chris Podgurski, President and Chief Operating Officer of Cape Cod Central Railroad.

“This enchanting train ride will become a new holiday tradition, reigniting the Christmas spirit in believers young and old for years to come.”
