FFidelity House in Arlington has a full schedule packed with activities for children of all ages. Registrations are available at Fidelity House, 25 Medford Street Arlington MA.
Boys and Girls ages 2.9-5 years old can sign up for our Preschool Summer Program, starting June 14th and extending til August 20th. Families have the option of signing up for a full 5 day week or individual days, as long as it's more than 2 days a week. The program runs from 8:30-12:30 with Preschool Director Liz Mattuchio running the summer program as well.
For children entering or leaving Kindergarten, Fidelity House offers our Kindergarten Summer Days program starting June 21st. This program runs from 8:00-3:30pm, with 9 weekly sessions scheduled for the summer. At Kindergarten Summer Days, the children will have use of our facility called FiHo2, equipped with a recently built and certified playground structure. The camp moves off-site a few times a week, including swimming lessons held at Minuteman Technical HS in Lexington, MA and various local trips to parks and other exciting spots.
Fidelity House's 1st-5th grade camp is entering it's 55th year and it looks to be a blast. This 6 week program starts June 28th and the days are from 8:00am-4:30pm (extended care is available up to 6:30pm). The Day Camp meets at Fidelity House but is based out of Minuteman Tech in Lexington. The extensive fields, Olympic-sized indoor swimming pool and cafeteria highlight the facilities at Minuteman. The campers are treated to a 1 hour daily swim lesson in the morning and another 1 hour free swim period in the afternoon to work on their strokes. Other activities include Arts & Crafts, Archery, Gymnastics, Games, Sports, Group Activities and the world reknown Talent Shows. Tanya Dall will be directing the camp this summer and the staff will be made up of dedicated Fidelity House staff members.
Camp FiHo is for children going into 6th-8th grade. Camp FiHo will run for 8 weeks, and the days are from 9:00am-3:30pm. The camp is geared for the development of the junior high aged individual with activities ranging from field trips, sports, swimming, arts & crafts and much more. Jack Woods is the director of Camp FiHo and will be assisted by other adult and high school aged staff.
BASKETBALL CAMPS- Tomorrow's Stars will be hosting their Arlington basketball camp at Fidelity House for the 5th summer. Basketball players ages 6-15 years old will be under the direction of Joel Burke (Arlington Catholic Boys Varsity Coach) and Jim Edgehill (All-American at Salem State and Cambridge PE teacher). The camp is June 28-July 2nd and runs from 9:00am-3:30pm. The session concludes with an awards ceremony on Friday afternoon. The camp will feature guest speakers, an emphasis on individual instruction skills and each camper may receive a t-shirt, basketball, award and evaluation report card following the week.
Fidelity House 6th-10th Grade Basketball Camp- August 2nd-August 6th 9:00am-3:30pm. Coach Dennis Doherty of Wayland HS will be leading the camp for his 10th summer at FiHo. This camp is for players looking to get better in a competitive and fun environment. Coach Doherty stresses the basics of the game and a positive atmosphere for all campers.
