Bring the entire family to an exciting day at North Shore Music Theatre (NSMT) and explore what goes on behind-the-scenes of the region’s most attended theater.

Everyone in the community is invited to enjoy a variety of exciting activities including backstage tours, face painting, balloon art, on-stage demonstrations, and a performance by NSMT’s award-winning Youth Performance Academy. NSMT staff and volunteers will be on hand to answer questions and to demonstrate how musicals are made- from props, to sets, to costumes. This event is free of charge.

Members of NSMT’s award-winning Youth Performance Academy will also perform selections from the upcoming season during two on- stage presentations at 10:15 am and 2:15 pm. In addition, complimentary light refreshments will be served and the box office will be open throughout the day.

50 Year Anniversary Time Capsule
In celebration of NSMT’s remarkable 50-year history and exciting future, a historic time line will be unveiled at the Open House, and patrons will have the opportunity to include a memory about the Theatre in NSMT’s 2005 Time Capsule.
