See art in a new way on a zany search to find out why a mummy wears lipstick, what makes Cupid the Roman Bart Simpson, why Garfield would like an Egyptian goddess, and which saint clobbers Satan at a wedding. Designed for ages seven and up.

You’ll tackle tricky, humorous questions about the cool things and amazing places you discover. Along the way, you’ll uncover surprising secrets. No knowledge of any hunt location is required—you just need a sharp mind and a good pair of shoes.

You must have a valid e-ticket or confirmation number to participate in the hunt. Please be ready to hunt at the time indicated on your e-ticket . If you need to check coats or bags, please arrive early, especially in bad or cold weather, when the lines can be a bit long.

The hunt is played on teams of up to six people. You can bring your own team and hunt with as few as two on a team, or we can help you band together with kindred spirits at the start of the hunt. Each member of the winning team will receive a prize (it’s a sur-prize). Plus if you fill out a survey after the hunt, you’ll be eligible to win free admission to a future hunt.

Use the West Wing entrance, on Museum Road. As you enter, pass the entrance to the coat checkroom and look to the left, opposite the line to buy tickets, for our MC, wearing a burgundy baseball cap. Please look for the MC first and do not stand on line to buy tickets. The MC will have your museum admission tickets.
