Saugus Iron Works National Historic Site will celebrate its Grand Reopening with music, dance cake, demonstrations and more, marking the achievement of several major construction projects.
Friday Events
5:00pm: Saugus High School Chorus
5:30pm: Salem Scottish Dancers
6:15pm: Ceremonial Cake and Activities:
The Iron Guild molten iron demonstration
Blacksmithing Demonstrations
Stationed Interpretation at Visitor Center, Iron Works House, Museum, Blast Furnace, The Forge, The Rolling and Slitting Mill
Saturday Events
10:00am and 12:30p : Traditional Music from Kevin McDermott
11:00am and 2:00pm Family Fun with Paul Erickson's Into the Wild Blue
