Ovations request is for our benefit Tennis Tournament and health rally at the Waltham Athletic Club (greater Boston) in a benefit called WAC Fights Back Against Ovarian Cancer on February 9 & 10, 2008. One hundred percent of the proceeds earned from this exciting benefit will be for ovarian cancer patient awareness program and support of treatment initiatives.
This event will encompass 24hr of pro marathon tennis play, lessons, three round robin tournaments, cardio tennis and many other rallying activities. Participation of this event will expand to greater New England including a couple to be announce national personalities and many regional ones all in support of Ovations for the Cure’s mission to further build awareness programs and research initiatives for this underserved women’s cancer.
Also, there will be many other health related activities to participate in for the cause: swim a thon, treadmill a thon, spinning, pilates, yoga and basketball tournament.
