Storytime at the Museums: Native Planting Join us for a very special weekend story time!

Before the arrival of European settlers, Native people lived in what we call Newton for over 10,000 years.

Visit the Jackson Homestead on either Saturday, August 12 or Sunday, August 13 to learn more about daily life of Native people in Massachusetts.

Preschoolers and their caregivers will listen to the book My Heart Fills with Happiness by Monique Gray Smith & Julie Flett, observe and explore our own three sisters garden, then plant their own seeds to take home!

Facilitator: Jessica Orcutt & Cynthia Cowan
