The day’s events include a 5k walk and certified 5k road race sponsored by New Balance, the Aetna survivor breakfast and parade and, a Kids Fun Run, as well as informational booths and giveaways from event sponsors and vendors.
Events like Race for the Cure are vital to ensure Komen Massachusetts can continue to make a difference in the lives of our mothers, daughters, sisters and friends.
As its largest fundraising event, Race for the Cure allows the Massachusetts Affiliate of Susan G. Komen® to continue to fund local grant programs that provide education, screening and treatment as well as groundbreaking research.
To date, Massachusetts has invested more than $68 million in Massachusetts-based organizations, and an additional $26 million in research throughout the Commonwealth.
