The need to keep warm is universal and the means to do so changes with the advance of technology.

Now through the end of February, visitors to Gore Place can compare modern objects that keep us warm and cozy to their period counterparts from the 1800s.

From foot warmers to plate warmers to a quilted cape, the exhibit Warm and Cozy is full of things that kept us warm in an earlier time.

Warm and Cozy may be seen as part of the mansion tours offered Monday through Friday at 1:00 p.m. and Saturdays at 12:00, 1:00, 2:00, and 3:00 p.m.

Admission is $12 for adults, $6 for children, and free for members.
