Facing History and Ourselves is seeking nominations for the exhibition, Upstanders: Portraits of Courage.
Each day our friends, neighbors, and family members make decisions, large and small, that help create positive change in our world. Upstanders gives you the chance to recognize the people who are making a difference in your community and around the world.
Share your Upstander’s story with us by writing an essay, story, or poem explaining why you think your nominee(s) deserves to be recognized.
The selected entries will be on display as part of the Choosing to Participate exhibition, on taking place at the Boston Public Library from January to May 2008.
For more information, please visit www.choosingtoparticipate.org or call Facing History and Ourselves at 617-232-1595.
