Others to Consider: iVillage, Massachusetts Mothers of Twins, I to I, Bedford Family Connection (BFC), Wayland Children's & Parents Association (WCPA)Acton Family Network (AFN), based in Acton, MA, is a non-profit group of local parents working to increase and improve Acton's resources for families with young children. AFN members share the goal of connecting with other parents and families to develop and benefit from social, recreational, and cultural opportunities.
AFN offers themed events all year, monthly storyhours and craft hours, a babysitting co-op, weekly outings, a book group, weekly playgroups, educational seminars, mom's night out, a scrapbooking club, a newsletter, and much more.
AFN membership enables the entire family to participate in the many AFN-sponsored events throughout the year. Annual membership runs from August 1st to July 31st and costs $30 for the entire family.
