AFC is a terrific volunteer-run resource for families in Arlington, MA, with children age 6 and under in Arlington and those who care for them. The group plans outings and parties, and provides access to valuble information and support on parenting young children, daycare, events and activities, and more.
Some of our activities include organizing age-appropriate outings; hosting playgroups and performers; publishing a monthly newsletter with compilations of local activities; and providing support and book groups for caregivers.
AFC offers seminars, workshops, discussions and written materials about parenting young children, as well as the opportunity to connect with other young families in the neighborhood at monthly 'Member Nights.'
Membership is $20/year or $10/half year. All memberships renew in September. Half year price is for those joining between February and June.
