5-starWonderful For My 2-year Old Daughter
My daughter, like many kids, has very fine, very straight hair, and I was not excited about the prospect of getting her hair cut at Snip-its, which seemed to be the only option for someone her age. She just isn't into all that crazy running around and loudness; plus, I really wanted to talk to someone about the best options for her hair. They had some toys and books for her to play with; nothing fancy, but just right for her. She was very well-behaved when Cielo cut her hair, and really enjoyed the time with me too. Just as important, her haircut was adorable, and Cielo gave me some tips on maintaining it/styling it until the next cut. My daughter was having so much fun that Delores was able to cut my hair while my daughter played quietly (not always my daughter's normal behavior!) It was great, great, great, and we're going back tomorrow for her second cut by Cielo.
5-starElegant Haircuts For Little Girls
Dolores and the others at Lulu's Kids Cuts (Salon 2323) relate to children beautifully, and the haircuts show it. My 2-yr-old daughter has always felt at ease and loves to look at the box of little animals while they cut her hair, and we've received so many compliments on her haircut and how nicely it frames her sweet little face. The cuts are elegant and classic, and not the usual trim with bangs you get most places. Definitely worth the price!
5-starGreat Place
Dolores has been cutting my son's hair for several years (he is now 4). He won't let anyone else near his hair. She is very gentle and kind, and I think he picks up on that. Also, she gives him a great cut, which looks good even after it's been grown out. I took my son to snipit's once, and it was overstimulating, tacky and he got a lousy crooked cut to boot. never again. This place has comparable prices, and is a much classier, nicer place. there is a playroom downstairs for the kids if they have to wait. It's also a good place for grown ups.. My entire family goes there.
5-starLulu's Kids Cuts Are Great
We have been bringing our four year old to Lulu's since she was two. Her hair is beautifully trimmed and shaped and it continues to look great longer than the assembly-line kids hair cut places. We live in Maynard and it is so worth the drive!
5-starLulu's Kids' Cuts
Just took my 6-year-old daughter for a first professional cut and we were very pleased with the experience, the stylist (Dolores), and the salon atmosphere (tranquil). I'm not interested in one of the chains that caters to kids, because they sound overstimulating and kind of annoying. My daughter was perfectly content to get the 'treatment' and didn't need any coaxing. Maybe it's different with really little kids, but I'm giving a big 'thumbs up' to Lulu's
2-starWhere Is The Kid's Salon
I recently brought my 7 year old son for a haircut at Lulu's and it was not the best experience for him. First of all, let's make one thing perfectly clear-THERE IS NO Lulu's Kids Cut Salon. What you'll find is 2323 Salon with a cute sign in the window for Lulu's Kids Cuts. Inside the salon, well, it's an adult salon. There were a few balls on the floor and a couple of books on a shelf and that, my friend, is the extent of how they cater to children. Delores did an average job on my son's hair, though she 'bowl cut' his bangs (and I could have had my husband do that for free). The cost of the shampoo/cut was expensive at $25 (plus, don't forget the tip). I would not recommend this for kids. If I have to, I'll go back to Snip its-at least my son enjoyed it there and it's cheaper.
4-starJust Good Kids Cuts Without All The Gimmicks
We've taken our toddler to Lulu's twice now, and we've been really happy with it. It is expensive, but the cuts look better longer compared to other places we've been. The atmosphere is quiet and calm (two things that our daughter really appreciates), unlike the zoo that is Snipits. 'Kids like to act like kids' is another way of saying 'We like places that let bratty kids run wild.' No thanks.
2-starNot Fun For Kids
I was in this salon with my kids last week for the first and last time I saw a sign riding by that said lulu's kids cuts i thought i would stop in seeing it was a kids salon. No way this salon was for kids the looks of this salon was weird looking I was surprised to see that this salon was advertised for kids. Kids like to act like there kids. I noticed the music that was playing is for elderly people. If you have children I would recommend Snipits for a great kids experience.
1-starDon't Waste Your Time And Money
I had a haircut by one of the girls and it was like she didn't listen to me when I explained how I wanted my haircut she took it upon her self to cut my hair the way she wanted I was so upset after I left anbody who is smart - do not go to Lulu's cuts.
2-starWay Overpriced
I was in lulus last week and had a haircut and styled wasn't happy with my haircut probably wouldn't go back. This salon is also very expensive and is so not worth it. Very strange salon.
