WarmLines Parent Resources is a non-profit organization that provides parenting support to families in the Greater Boston area. Membership (annual fee of $135 for new members, $185 for two years, or $60 renewal) entitles you to an abundance of services. Schoiarships are available.

Drop-In Playgroups:
Membership gives you free access to playgroups in Newton, Needham, Brookline, and Watertown. Playgroups are open to children ages 0 to 3 years who are accompanied by a parent or caregiver. Children are given age-appropriate toys and snacks, and participate in circle time. All groups are directed by a leader. Group leaders are most often mothers and long-standing members of Warmlines. Non-members can request a free one-time pass to participate in a group.

Mothers' Groups:
New Babies/New Moms are small gatherings of first time mothers. This is an opportunity to meet with others to ask questions, share experiences, and get support. Professional leaders are on hand to answer questions. Leaders of these groups all have advanced degrees in Social Work, Education, or Psychology. Groups consist of 10-to-12 members who meet for six weeks, with new groups forming every two weeks. New Mom gatherings are open to WarmLines members only.

Infant Massage classes, Infant & Child CPR, Parenting 1-2-3, Music classes, Speaker series, available to members and non-members.

If you're looking for Family Day Care, Child Care Centers, Toddler Programs, Preschools, Transition Classes, Kindergartens, or Afterschool Programs in Allston/ Brighton, Belmont, Brookline, Needham, Newton, Waltham, Watertown, Wellesley, and Weston, WarmLines can assist in your search. New Babies New Moms
Warmlines' small groups offer first-time mothers the opportunity to ask questions, share experiences, and get support from a professional leader and from one another. Bring your infant (up to six months old) to discuss developmental issues, expectations as a new mom, child care concerns, and more. (Members only).

Day Camp Connection:
WarmLines can help find the summer program you've been looking for. An extensive database includes general and specialty camps in the Metro Boston area. You can specify age, location, hours, transportation, and more. Receive up-to-date information on programs. Fee assistance available.

Preschool Guide:
A newly-updated edition of this popular guide to over 140 preschools can help you explore your preschool options. Information on hours, fees, program philosophy, physical space, extended day and summer options, transition classes, and much more is found in the Guide. Guidelines for visiting and choosing a preschool are included. Covers Allston/Brighton, Belmont, Brookline, Needham, Newton, Waltham, Watertown, Wellesley, and Weston. $12 member; $17.50 non-member.

Infolines Magazine
Warmlines popular 16 page publication, mailed every two months. Regular features include family outings, children's book reviews, parent advice, and additional information about Warmlines services.

Location
WarmLines has moved to a new location in the former Carr School at 225 Nevada Street in Newton MA. The includes an enormous, sunlit activity room with huge windows, along with adjacent offices staff. There is plenty of free parking plus a large park with playground equipment, and handicap accessibility
