The food comes super fast; so you don't have to worry about entertaining the kids 'til the food comes. You can also get lunch, and dinner, and take-out.
Kids order from the grown-up menu but there is plenty that they will find pleasing. The service is refreshingly good.

Best waffles by far. Just ordering one, covered in strawberries causes my mouth to water. Delicious and filling, perfect fuel for the day.
