Wonderful Dinner Overlooking BayMy elderly mother and I intended to eat at the restaurant next door, one that was greatly tauted. But the menu at Red Rock looked much more tempting. And we made the right choice! We not only had a wonderful view, watching the sun set over Swampscott as we ate dinner; but we enjoyed one of the best lobster meals we have had in a long time. My mother is San Francisco-born and knows her sea food well. We chose lobster spring rolls on a bed of greens, after some wonderful fresh oysters (a mixture of species recommended by the waiter). The lobster rolls were absolutely delicious, with a little hint of ginger and something just a little spicey but not overwhelming the freshness of the lobster which was really abundant for a very reasonable price. The waiter was very friendly and solicitous, acknowledging my mother's handicaps from a recent stroke. So we truly enjoyed a great evening, just so close to Boston and yet away from the big city!
