Others to Consider: Chau Chau City, Ginseng Restaurant & LoungeTwo locations offering excellent dim sum and menued items. Carts infiltrate the large rooms full of hot steaming dumplings filled with seafood, pork, tofu & veggies. Great for large groups, families, brunch dates, or even going solo! Something for all tastes here, and very reasonably priced.
Both locations can get crowded on weekends, although the Chinatown location is much worse, with over an hour wait during peak weekend brunch hours.
Downtown offers offers a full dim sum menu daily; the Woburn restaurant offers full selelction on weekends/holidays, and limited dim sum menu on weekdays.

Heavenly suburban dim sum, Sun 23 Sep 2007
Finally, a way to avoid Chinatown and still have dim sum. In fact, dim sum at the Woburn China Pearl tastes better because it won't take twenty minutes to flag down a steam cart. Next time we'll pace ourselves -- we were so used to the 'grab it while you can' system we ended up with ten varieties on our table, all getting cold. Pre-11am arrival is advised.

- This place can get crowded and overwhelming - but it is so worth it.
- There is a giant flight of stairs (50?) to get to the restaurant, so strollers must be carried. However, there is a back elevator (ask - it's in the far back right corner of the main level) that you can ride down to street level in after you are done.
- Take out is available, and can save you a wait.
