Cakes Are Frozen, Sat 3 May 2008

I ordered a cake for my husband's birthday. Although I ordered it days in advance, it came to me frozen solid. The cashier said they 'flash freeze' all their cakes -whoever heard of that? Aren't bakery cakes supposed to be fresh? I called to complain and the woman I spoke to said I shouldn't have gotten a frozen cake and promised to refund my money and have the owner call me. This is not a way to run a bakery. It was too late for me to get a cake elsewhere. At $25 it was a huge disappointment and I certainly won't order from them again.

The food did not taste fresh at all and it was overpriced. It appeared as if the pastries were standard with a touch of decoration added.
