Here, Chef Tony Maws, recently named Boston's best chef (Boston Magazine) and one of America's top new chefs (Food & Wine Magazine), combines his love of the Parisian bistrots modernes with an unyielding passion for the best local, seasonal, and organic ingredients and lesser-known, value-for-money estate-bottled wines.
The menu changes daily, depending on which ingredients are the best of the best that very day.

Craigie Street Bistrot is a tiny restaurant, but they strive to please in a big way! Here's how you can help us make your meal a memorable one:
Please try to arrive on time. They can hold reservations for 15 minutes, but, out of fairness to other customers, not longer, as it will delay their reservation. Parties cannot be seated until everyone in it has arrived.
If you don't have a Cambridge parking sticker, you should be able to find parking nearby (click here for details) but please allow a little extra time.
A credit card number is required to hold reservations for four or more guests on Friday and Saturday nights and for parties of five or more any night. Reservations broken without 24 hours notice may be subject to a charge of $25 per person if we are unable to re-book your table.

Beyond compare, Sun 27 Aug 2006
I brought my husband to Craigie Street for his birthday this year. What a wonderful evening. From start to finish our meal was one I will remember for a long long time. The Wellfleet Clams and the Striped Bass were cooked to perfection. The wine pairings only added to the abundent flavors in each dish. It was like being transported to another place. I'm only sorry that the meal had to come to an end.
