Fugakyu consistently serves very good sushi, and the variety of sushi entrees offered makes for a quality menu through and through. Great food, good service and worth the extra $$. Lunch offers a cheap alternative!
The atmosphere at Fugakyu is both classy and unpretentious. You can walk in dressed to the nines or in your most casual outfit and you feel comfortable either way.
Of course the downside is it's own popularity - it gets quite crowded for dinner on weekends (especially at the Brookline location) and service can be slow during the rush.
Might we also add that they have the cleanest bathrooms ever. Makes you feel like you are visting someone's upscale home.

This place always has the best and most interesting selections. I have been eating there for the last three years (since I moved to Brookline) and it is still my favorite place to go
