Traditional dishes and all -you-can-eat salad, soup and bread sticks are the draw at this upscale-casual Italian restaurant.

Appetizers include dishes like scampi, sausage or pepperoni pizza, and several soup choices, as well as their signature seafood dip (crab, shrimp, cheese and marinara). Entrees include Tuscan classics like lasagna, fettuccine Alfredo and chicken parmigiana.

The lines are often long at this popular restaurant chain, so prepare to wait up to an hour on busy evenings. They do provide high-chairs for the little ones.

Sunday Afternoon At Olive Garden Marlboro, Tue 1 Jul 2008

There were 14 of us at the OG in Marlboro Sunday [6/29] and we were there to have a good time and we had it in spite of the service and the food. The salad is on the table but no salad bowls so some ate their salad from the bread plates. Chicken Marsala without the delicious sauce x 3, sauted peppers burned. It was not a good day considering what we paid and the quality as mentioned. Personally, I so looked forward to that visit because of great past dining experiences at OG but I know it will not happen again. Too bad.

We had an eerily similar bad experience at OG, Marlboro on 9/22/07. It took all of 1 1/2 hrs to even get our meal. our waitress disappeared on us almost after seating us. we had to ask and remind her for our drinks, and breadsticks for my famished child....after which she still got the drinks wrong, and forgot the breadsticks. After 2 hrs we had it but had to go to the kitchen to look up the waitress who served us for the bill. We were so disgusted we paid up and walked out...didn't even want the comp..JUST OUT OF THERE. and mind u this was not rush hour.

The Olive Garden is as great as they come! Ive been to so called Italian resteraunt`s throughout my 35 year`s & never have I tasted better Italian food since going to theOlive garden! Everything is fresh & their portion`s are extremely generous! I haven't had a delicious Italian meal since my mother`s house! I genuinely feel that Im still a child visiting my Nanna`s house waiting in line for one of her meat ball`s when I eat here! The best Itallian food I've had since! I just wish there was an Olive garden north of Boston so I could eat there all the time!

Horrible Service At The Olive Garden, Sun 7 Jan 2007

We had a horrible experience at the Olive Garden in Marlborough. We got a table fairly quickly, since we arrived at about 3:30. Usually the wait is ridiculous there if you come at a typical dinner time. However, everything went downhill from there. Something happened and our waitress vanished for 30+ minutes after bringing us our drinks. Eventually another server came to check on us, though she did not take responsibility for our table. We asked her to see if our food was coming. After a long time, she came back and said 'it would be there in a few minutes.' Nothing came. 35 minutes after we initially sat down and placed our order, still no meal. Our original waitress eventually appeared, but avoided our table like the plague, except to say that there was a mistake in the kitchen and our order got 'lost' by the kitchen. We suspected it never got put in. We decided to give it ten minutes more, still no food arrived. The manager eventually came over to apologize and say the food was coming, but we had had it, our young children were cranky and hungry, so we left. The manager comped our sodas, which wasn't a very impressive way to make up for such a horrible experience. We will definitely never go there again.

Great Food If You Order The Right Stuff, Sun 21 May 2006

They have some great food at this place, but I think you need to know what to order. Their 'Tour of Italy' is awesome. One drawback is that the lines are often too long and it can be hard to wait too long if your kids get as antsy as ours.

Poor Service in Taunton, Sun 21 May 2006

I want to first say, 'I love the Olive Garden's food'. My disappointment is in the Taunton location for its service. Although it is a fairly new location, I find that the service is very, very slow. I have tried to assess the situation and see if it's because there's not enough help, but I am just not sure. Has the newer staff been trained properly? We live in Dighton, MA and always used to go to Dartmouth or Attleboro when going to the Olive Garden, and were so excited when the Olive Garden came to Taunton. But now, with the slow service, we're disappointed. We are not the only ones that feel this way. Please help improve the service to be the best it can be.

it's.. what you would expect from the mcdonalds of italian food. decent pizza, and pre-made meals make this better to-go food than domino's.
